The only phone I've ever had in my life was a Nokia flip phone, used exclusively for contacting my parents.

I'm honestly glad I didn't have a "newer" phone because most (not all) seem to have a bunch of issues that make using them a chore, plus almost everyone I've known at my school is basically dead without their phone and spout memes every nanosecond. (not that you guys are that way or your school is like that, your mileage will vary)

Doesn't mean I won't want one later, however. I'm just glad I learned a fair portion of my online manners from a forum about a game of digital blocks, before making that decision.

My aunt managed to convince my younger cousins that iPhone is always better no matter what and they're always bragging about the iPhone 3G that they have.

I'd recommend the moto g because that's what I have and it's pretty good but if you can get a G4 or an S6 then just go for one of those. I think the G4 may be the better option because of expandable memory and removable battery but idk there's android phones everywhere so you will definitely find something that meets your demands

also yea dont go windows phone

I'm on a Sony Xperia Z1 Compact right now; given to me by a groovy Ubisoft chick. This is probably the best phone I've ever had, and unlike forgetin' Apple, Sony is awesome and has a whole section of their website dedicated to rooting your phone and loading a custom OS. I think that's frankly fantastic support.

Also, this phone is blitzing loving fast compared to the load of trash I'm usually used to with Apple products.

I have a Windows phone and honestly it's not 100% bad, its charge lasts like 2 days and it's pretty user friendly. Only downside is that there are barely any official apps made for it and it refuses to associate with Google. It has instagram and Spotify and kik, and those are really all I want.

I hate apple. I will NEVER get an iPhone. Ever. Get something like android. Usually much cheaper because companies who use it dont overprice it so they get loads of money.

And androids have the feature of Steam Mobile Authenticator. Kind of like iOS but when your account is hacked you wont encounter 5 million bugs trying to access the app.

that reminds me, I overheard a ton of people on the first day back to school after Christmas saying how they broke their phone screen (the phone they got for Christmas), like it hasn't even been 2 weeks and their phones are already forgeted in some way like how do you manage to do that

I don't really get your point. iOS has the same thing as Androids do, and from what I've seen from my friend who has an Android, it's no different.

Anyway, I like my iPhone, though I will agree that the battery does run down in, well, not very long at all. However, that might be my fault specifically, considering I let it die a lot, and I heard that when the iPhone battery completely dies, it ruins the battery or something (citation needed), makes the battery hold less charge or be less efficient.
