well anyways here's some actual content
a few pics of my ship on my main save, it's at tech 12.33 currently which isn't too terribly far but I've been further on another computer before, I think I got to around 30 then

in the middle of a life-threatening battle and I freeze time to take a picture

fun fact immediately after I resumed I died a millisecond later
this game can be very brutal if you try to fight anyone with a high tech level compared to yours

there's a view where you can see your upgrades in 3d on the inside of the ship, it's unnecessary but neat

I've been playing this game for years and I'm still finding out new things, such as apparently you can target and destroy the energy/shield generators

man, i remember when this game was in a closed beta state that let you get it for free. it was a lot of fun then, but i never bought it.

It was pushed back to the 22nd but the dev said that the version already on steam will pretty much be the 1.0 version if no other problems show up which is unlikely. So if you're wary about getting this because it's early access fear not, the game's pretty polished already and out of all the time I've spent since the last update I haven't found any bugs or glitches.
Put a picture at the top of the OP of the dev explaining this.

edit: oh and what I mean by "done" in the title is just for the release, it'll still get updates and possibly more goodies.

to add on to that there might be more people playing at different times, albeit probably not too many
14 people playing a not very well known purely singleplayer game at once is actually pretty impressive considering some people in different timezones and all that, plus there's a desura version that might not have as many people but I know I played a bunch on there before it got on steam

There isn't any real difference between the last version and this but it's at least gonna out of early access tomorrow since he planned to release it then
