i mean tbh i dont want to see all the new special interestes people come up with so i'll stick with mortal thank you

can I live for 1000's of years but be an animated skeleton instead of a human thanks
that's the dream

Being immortal means seeing loved ones come and go. No thanks.

As with most things involving loved ones

coming is the best part

EDIT: no, I didn't mean that how you read it, though the double entrende was almost amazing to have missed

Yeah but you would have to go through it numerous times.

What I meant was is meeting new, hopefully wonderful people would outweigh seeing them go.

It all depends on the person. I could see if you couldn't go with "seeing them go" for the entirety of your family tree, that would probably be traumatic.

That's just my thoughts.

Maybe your right, but I don't know.

Do you think having children as immortal would make them immortal?

Do you think having children as immortal would make them immortal?

The way the OP is wording it I'm guessing no.

in all seriousness I need a human lifespan because I've barely handled 16 years there's no way I can handle 200
also there are people I really care about and being with them while I'm 20 and they're 72 is not okay

I would like to live to the time of full-dive virtual reality, and submerge myself there until oblivion. If anyone has read the Enderdragon series, it would be similar to LifeLight.

Hopefully something like storing ones consciousness in a computer will be possible before we rip.

the bigger problem with immortality is that it just goes on into infinity. the universe will end and you'll be drifting through nothing, alone with your thoughts.

This
The thousand years.

I'd be okay with total immortality as long as I have a Self Delete option and hopefully a fast forward button.
