Author Topic: what shoes do you wear?  (Read 3210 times)

am i the only one who doesn't know what brand/kind my shoes are
I know my brand, because I've bought them 3-4 times now when I need new shoes, and I've come to find them reliable.

But as for the model, I have no idea off the top of my head. I had to examine the shoe and find it on their website to know.
When I go shopping for a replacement, I just look for a shoe that looks the same and is from the same company.

no honestly they're branded to something and I wear them everyday but I have absolutely no idea

I have these lovely steeltoed dress boots I inherited my my grandpa that I will probably never find again.
So I uxually dont wear thosd. I just wear whatever I can slip on quickly nearest to myself.

White New Balances with gray trim and blue accents.

p much everything stops being a fashion statement after hs

And then there's me who didn't care in high school and doesn't care now.

My shoes are by Champion.

i wear mizuno wave inspire 11. even though they're around $115 a pair, i've stuck with that specific line for years because so far it's the only shoe that doesn't hurt my arches (and i don't have to wrap my feet in), is comfortable to wear all day, and is great for running. i don't care about the brand, i care about comfort, and if i have to shell out money for a good-looking comfortable pair of shoes that will last me for a year, then i will

Gtfo i could care less about shoes, they are a waste of money
ah yes, who cares about properly supporting and cushioning your feet? who cares about those in need of expensive orthopedic shoes for their flat feet, high arches, plantar fasciitis? who cares about wearing shoes that won't leave your feet sore after wearing them for just a few hours? who cares about basketball shoes with ankle supports to, yknow, protect your ankles? what a waste of money let's all wear walmart shoes

idk man i just get a little frustrated when people are like "shoes are a waste of money" because i cannot wear cheap, flexible (when you can bend the shoe so the toe touches the heel), nonsupportive shoes without having to wear arch wraps and braces. i have high arches and all kind of joint pain and orthopedic shoes cost a forgetton. shoes aren't a waste of money, they're a necessary investment.

I don't think that's what he meant. I think he just means that it would be a waste of his money if he spent it on expensive shoes just to "be cool".
