Author Topic: i just bought 20,000 pounds of sand, ama  (Read 1821 times)

covered by a thin layer of snow, this small mountain is actually made of sand! 10 tons of sand that is, (20,000 pounds, 9071kg, 320,000 ounces, etc.)
we originally got a ton of sand back in 2005 to act as a small sand mountain, but over the years it has flattened out and moss has grown over it, so I decided to go all out and buy 20,000 pounds of sand to put on top of it (sadly they couldn't put it directly on top of the hill, so they kinda just left it lopsided)

this is cool and all but why?

You know what this map needs?
It needs more sand.

i don't like sand

excuse to make an AMA.
he knows the facts

I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating... and it gets everywhere.

well it's outside so it doesn't really matter where it goes unless it makes like a dust devil and sucks up my house

also i think there may have been a snowboard there so if it's under 10 tons of sand i'm gonna be pissed

Snowboarding?

I assume the little hill is for practice. Do you visit steeper slopes?

Yes, but Delaware legitimately doesn't have any hills whatsoever so it's pretty rare to find one. luckily there is one around 2 miles from my house and it's pretty sick

is the sand as cool as me

Take a stuff in it and blame it on a cat.

But the sand gives you more to stand on, everyone knows it's over when you have the high ground.
