Ok, ive used the search button but no one told me how to do it exactly, i know how to forward my ports on xp, then i switched to vista. I already have a port open, so i go to control panel/network and sharing center/manage network connections/wireless network connection/properties, and then i get to to a page where it should just say internet protocol, but instead theres two, one says Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4),
and one that says, Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv4),
the v6 one has different ip address settings, and the v4 has the one that the internet protocol on my old pc had. So, i thought id change v4 to how i did it with xp, but people can log on to my server, but they get disconnected a second later. I don't wan't to sound like a noob, but I just don't know where to look.
