if you want an easy trick to artificially lengthen an essay, resize all of your periods and commas to be 14pt

In all seriousness, that isn't that bad. My first day of English class this semester, we had to write an essay in class and have it finished before we left (and the topic choices were unknown going in).

If that's double spaced then that's not bad at all.

If that's single spaced, I'd def expect more than a day to do that. What a dumb prompt too.

It seems like some schools think that more problems and more pages makes for a better education. Writing a 3 page single spaced essay about "le meaning of life" is going to become stuff because at some point you're just gonna have to bullstuff, since you're in high school and you don't know anything about the meaning of life (as though anyone does)
