When I first bought the game for some reason none of my keybinds were assigned and I didn't notice the button to assign the defaults. As a result I made up my own keybinds and near 9 years later I'm still using this wacky combination of keybinds. I tried going back and just did not get used to it. One day Muzzles56 came round to my house and he tried to play and he just couldn't.

One of the most notable ones is I use "4" to plant bricks lol.

for comparison, i use mouse1 to jump, mouse2 to fire, mouse3 for the confusion emote, and spacebar for switching to the next tool

Some of them are the same as normal for example WASD movement, spacebar to jump, left click to shoot, right click to jet and F8/F7 for orbing. There may be a couple more but after that they're all pretty weird.
