Honestly its about time the map either gets an expansion or a fix because there is no room for new nations anymore. The remaining territory is inhospitable desert.

I agree with Cypher, a map extension would be nice for new folks/nations. All of the coast except for the smidget above me is taken, and there's not much water/coastal land for new people to grab.

make the expansion east if you're going to, that way countries who are already established can't claim it but still build thing like trade posts

it'll keep the area open for new players

The green in the map indicating vegetation was like 10-20 layers of varying brushes, and it was only done on the map that was shown.  Furthermore, the map that was created was scaled up from the image when it was cropped at odd proportions.  It is 517:1000 with the original map.  So as much as I would honestly like to expand, I would more likely cause damage to the map than improve it.

any noticeable difference in the two maps' visuals could be dismissed as different eras in map design
