Your land is pretty devoid of water, fertile soil and the like.  Would you like to relocate?

(I think I'll give people these options as they join since I haven't released the resource maps yet)
Again, devoid of readily available water, which is key to industry, let alone maintaining a large population.  And also how does a country go straight from nomads to industrial superpower?

Economists find that the chief problem is that too many people emigrated.  Crime and looting are frequent daily occurrences.  A few open Christians fight against the sudden radical shift in institution.
Tradesmen stop for simple goods and pass on.  They don't seem to want to leave port for the above reason.

Well, a lot of that area is good grain and wine country so...  Oil isn't a thing yet.

It'll be introduced once it becomes of significant strategic, industrial, and economic value.

But Arconian prices are lower, yes.  :P

Yes, Arcon accepts happily, and also requests for it to be mutual.

Thanks for not shooting me.

If I left anyone out in this update round, PM it to me with the Title of "Missed Update 02/05/16".  Thank you for your patience.

"Begins it'seems slow progression" I never once said I became an industrial super power overnight. No readily available water? Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is an ocean next to my nation whose water could be used, granted I've never worked in a factory before so I have no idea if you can use salt water. Regardless, we are building the factories, nothing else. To SWAT 3: there is no resource map so I am just assuming we are mining iron and other stone.

The Arminian government creates an agency named the Department of Education. The new department immediately begins education reform, which entails the following: Subjects are to be reevaluated, teachers are to be evaluated, and Arminian children are now forced to attend school regardless of their parent's financial situation.

I'd like to relocate next to my Islamic brothers. Will show where I'd like to be on the map when I get home

Fearing the threat of overpopulation in the near future, Grúzia-Nec plans eastward expansion, despite the possible troubles this may cause with neighboring Sunyong.

A focus on the recruitment of ground units such as infantry is set, hoping to increase in power to cope with future expansion plans. Infrastructure begins to be worked on/improved as well, within the major and capitol city.

Saccren
In God we trust

Accepted.  Nami is to be treated as nonexistent.

The Sunyong advance force marches up to two miles away from the Grúzia border.  A messenger goes ahead, stating that Sunyong had plans for expansion and sought to notify Kyrev, when a nation suddenly sprung up in the way.  The messenger states that the army was to be used as a native dispersal force, and does not intend any invasion.

The Sunyong also expand northeast with intent to capture highland territory.

Report of the Avalonia expansion:  Several clans agreed to join the Union.  Those remaining are torn between loyalty between Avalonia and Arcon.  Neither views involve hostility.

Arconian frontiersmen hear of the acquisition from the clans out of the territory.  The news travels to the palace.  The ambassador seeks a resolution as far as the clans between them, not wishing to divide them.

Arcon agrees, and and agrees to allow railroad companies build to connect the Avalonian National Line.  A particular company, General Rail, lands the contract.  Rail networks begin to expand throughout Arcon, however, the privatization of the rail lines quickly comes into question, as some lines are found to be unsafe.  Parliament passes the "Public Railway Safety Act" which in effect purchases all rail lines and enforces safety regulations on unsafe rails, which are now being re-created or broken up.  General Rail will be permitted to finish its construction under contract, however, must abide to safety standards.  Once it finishes its railway, it will be purchased back from Arcon.

The Arconian military tests the Conservation rifle and finds it to be more than satisfactory.  Arcon proposes a contract to Conservatia, offering to produce the rifle, having abundant access to good iron at a reasonable price due to trade with the WDC nations.  Arcon would like to produce the rifles themselves at a reduced cost and also sell back rifles to Conservatia at a reduced price, an arrangement with the interest of both nations at heart.  In return, Arcon will not disclose these plans, distribute rifles beyond the military, and will only sell the rifles or their parts to other nations with Conservatia's express permission.

My bad.  I was thinking of Xeichi.  Sorry for the confusion.

Fravath expands northwards.

Washkian Province of Valbrandsvag expands southwards to meet Fravath's expansions halfway, and cut the remaining land in half.

No worries, man.

With the results of the tests from schooling coming into the Department of Education, the DoE begin reworking the various methods of teaching mathematics, sciences, as well as restructuring the education system. The DoE has also made plan's for opening it's first university in the capital, though plans have been made, it still needs to be constructed as well as staffed.

Small farms within the country begin to farm grain and grapes as a form of food as well as to send to the cities nearby. The grain and grapes are then sold in the cities markets, stimulating the economy.

Espovon also expands southwards to secure land routes with the southern countries

trade is also offered to the countries south of Espovon

Avalonia, at its national convention officially band chattel slavery, a practice long out of use in Avalonia, but still technically legal.  Still legal, however, is debt servitude, whereby a debtor may make payment in whole or in part in the form of servitude for a given period extending no longer than one year.  The debtee in such a situation does not have the right to mistreat the debtor, and must provide adequate room and board for the debtor.

Avalonia offers a tariff reduction deal of the same ilk as that offered to Arcon to Wienza.

The newly incorporated provinces are brought up to speed in terms of militia quality and infrastructure.  Businessmen bring capital into the region, boosting local economy.

The Avalonian national assembly accepts a proposal to create the Ministry of Defense and Information, the function of which is obvious.  The ministry has certain "extra-constitutional" powers which make it less than popular among the common people, but the national assembly deems it necessary given the progression of various military powers in the region.

You loving brought it on boyo.

An ultimatum is sent for Espovon to cease their southward attempts of expansion.

1.  Kringleberg has not told me that he is going inactive or is giving up his nation.  See Rules 3a-e & 9.
2.  I really don't know what you're talking about in the latter statement.

Arcon accepts the tarriff deal with Avalonia and Wienza, and proposes an alliance between itself and Avalonia.

Since the influx of refugees have not been divided up, Prince Önecht and now Lord Edward Guilles decide that the Second Southeast Acquisition be divided up among refugees according to their own settlements.  The means of labor is up for them to choose, however, farmers must grow crops/raise livestock as prescribed by Parliament.  The Prince and Lord Guilles come under fire as being liberally minded for engaging in such a risky experiment, however, the Constitution does not prevent this action.

The Prince and parliament also creates a bill to put the vagrant Sonodites to work beyond their farms by encouraging them to work on railroads, in mines, and most importantly, on irrigation systems.  Schools also open up to educate the Sonodite in the language and culture, in effect, Arconification schools.  Those whose families are involved with the public works projects receive this education for free.  Those that are just involved with the SSEA agricultural expansion project are guaranteed a small fee.  Those not working do not receive the benefits of the schooling, nor are provided any social welfare by the state.

Resentment for the Sonodite refugees is widespread, and a few violent crimes have occurred involving the persecution of Sonodite.  A few Sonodite houses and businesses in the region bordering the traditional motherland and the SSEA region are burned.  The local police is currently unable to find the culprits, but have released statements that such actions will not go unpunished.

1.
Valbrandsvag, Under rule of Theovald the Second, becomes Washkian territory, as the "Province of Valbrandsvag".

I made a slight error, where Washkian seats of oligarchy are said, Valbrandsvag gets one seat, washkia gets the other two.

2.

I read rule 9, and i want to make valbrandsvag into a vassal/ supra-soverign nation, which you told me i must post a new nation or such, and I made a new nation post, which you shot down and told me that you would tell me what you needed when you got home
