I saw some fire emblem on 3DS commercial and the gameplay they showed on that game was bad. The graphics looked just as bad as PS1 graphics.
At least the Vita is about the same as a PS3 in terms of graphics. Why hasn't the vita caught on? I've had people come up to me and say that for a handheld device it has the best graphics they've seen.
The library on 3DS is more interesting and has a larger fanbase.
And, homebrew, multiplayer, and a lot of other services.
Vita, to me, has ports of most the PS3 and PS4 games, and PSP games, which you'd be better off just buying a PSP and playing those games on.
That's it. Nothing new or interesting. And even if there is something new, most of the time, it's terrible or is some F2P bullstuff.
The only reason I even have the Vita is because someone else got it for me. I only use it to play Nuclear Throne and other games I really give a stuff about when I'm not at home. And even then I just play it on consoles.
And the thing's OLD. Like, really old. At least the 3DS had a remake (new 3DS), added things and is still being worked upon with brand new features.
Also, I played Fire Emblem Fates. It's fun as forget, and I don't know what you're getting the phrase "PS1 graphics" from.
Judging a book by it's cover much?
Anyways, that's all I'm saying about this.
Less derailing from you. More regular PlayStation talk.
Is there any reason to own a PS3 at the moment? All the games I seem to play are on PS4 right now, and I'm considering just keeping the thing in storage. No one wants a old slim PS3.
