Author Topic: school is making me depressed (GOOD NEWS)  (Read 2012 times)

Every college class you ever take will require loads of work with little to no award. Not too many courses will have graded homework, they'll expect you to do the work so you do well on exams. You're better off taking classes like that early in your school career so you're better prepared.

bump

since we were learning about the 1920's in apush our teacher said we would get extra points on the test if we dressed like we were in the 1920s and danced the jitterbug and the charleston, I did all this and got a 72% on the test, raising my overall class grade to a 79.7%, which the teacher then rounded to a B

also apparently she has a book that has all the test questions, answers, and explainations why the answer is what it is, and if you retake a test you can lok at that, so that might help me in the future

meanwhile my school gets threatened to get shot up

Well damn

If you're looking for advice on APUSH just do what I did: have a natural affinity for and interest in history and get an A by playing Minecraft instead of studying.
And if your school has AP Human Geography you can do the same. I got a 100 on the first vocab quiz (41 terms) and instead of studying I played MC.

All asinine/conceited bragging aside, I totally feel you on the whole effort thing. It's getting harder to pay attention to my assignments, let alone complete them. As senior year draws to a close I can't see my life going anywhere positive.

Good luck. Hopefully it works out for you.
