The generalization that "American Cars are awful" is a load. I can think of a dozen stuff cars from foreign countries. People that rag on Chevy Cobalts and Pontiac G5s because of a stuffty recall on GM's side doesn't mean that the cars are awful. People get serious rage boners when you insult german cars.
