Author Topic: Laptop bomb rips a hole on a plane  (Read 4548 times)

Wasn't there a TSA gunfight once in an airport which removed the TSA's privilige of carrying firearms?

TSA/FAA won't step things up. This is an incident involving a budget aircraft taking off from Somalia, a known region of terrorist activity. The air security in that region is comparatively low to places such as America, and the incident most likely couldn't have occurred on an American outgoing flight.

While the FAA may move to make sanctions on flights going to/from Somalia, they have no reason to ban electronic devices considering they already scan them and can detect bomb residue.

Do you think about getting in a car crash every time you ride in a car

I understand your logic here but I only go on trips a few times in like 6 years.

I just think planes are cool and that the people flying it have spent, at a minimum, thousands of hours flying it.

Yeah but I always feel a tad nervous before flight no matter how many times I fly.
