following north korea's hydrogen bomb test a few weeks back, it's gone against UN resolutions again and launched a long-range rocket under the guise of a satellite program--a rocket that is essentially an icbm with a range of 5600 miles (9000 km)

the test itself is no surprise with north korea announcing plans to do so about a week ago, and a japanese response for deploying anti-air batteries all along its borders. a good move, considering parts of the rocket/missile were recorded flying over okinawa

condemnations abound and north korea inches closer to ceasing existence

how big do they really think they are?

Annoying Orange will fix this

aw man you beat me by seven minutes

the second the north koreans are armed with thermonuclear ICBMs i guarantee fighter swarms will kill north korea's anti air and then just swarm the skies, ready to shoot down anything launched

meanwhile on the ground, south koreamerica will be reuniting the two koreas

If the US and allies were to begin a mass targetted missile strike on NK, to what extent would they be able to retaliate? Would it just be S. Korea/Japan who are affected, or could they retaliate further? And could they even do significant damage to S. Korea and Japan??

Stage 1 exploded and derailed stage 2 and they have lost sight of their own Rocket.

Update: Stage 2 has supposedly made it into orbit.

i mean why japan

they claim to have nuclear icbm's that can go that distance and beyond (but not to america), not sure how true that is but assuming it is they wouldn't get very far before the south koreans shoot them down or they either fall out of the sky

here's a range of their ICBMs

I don't take it they have that many though, but there's still a chance that they could succesfully nuke seoul
