I got my right pinky surgically removed, it added weight to my hand and therefore slowed down my mouse movements without providing practical benefit, I can no longer hold certain objects correctly but on average I get an extra kill per 10 games so I'd say it's worth it

I'm not sure what my dominant eye is because I have -4 nearsightedness. I think I'm left eye dominant though, I'm right handed, and I used to be one of the top marksman on my rifle team, so I think you're good.
