Ya, but, considering half this board has asperger's I don't think you can talk. Plus it was like at age 4.

I laughed. That was pretty good.

So, I was going to ask if you guys prefer Sirloin or Rump steak (I prefer sirloin), but apparently that question won't translate over well to America, because you guys divide your cows differently.

That's... interesting. I'm a fan of the American sirloin.

That's actually really interesting. I wouldn't have thought there would be a difference.

Here in Aus we must follow the american standard because I've never heard of Silverside or topside, but I have heard of round steak.

Yeah, I didn't think there was one either, until I went to google Rump Steaks, only to find that there's a difference.

I think what's especially interesting about it is how there are different cuts with the same name.
The fact that what you call Sirloin is exclusively called Rump here is interesting, or that we both have Brisket, but it's from a similar yet distinct cut.

There's also a difference (although more minor) between cuts of pork too, and probably for mutton as well.
American

British

I actually really enjoy Rump.

Cause Rump Roasts are the bomb

This topic has actually made me really hungry now.
My pizza with bits of wafer thin chicken is not going to satisfy me.

i guess i'm just a pusillanimous individual though because i really only eat meat well done. i like it that way and none of you can tell me otherwise

How do your only white ancestors be 5 generations removed and not end up mixing with the population? I couldn't find any white people in Buenos Aires.
I'm sorry, what? I live in BA and I can't find black people. The only blacks I've see. Was in Palermo and that's tourist neighborhood.

He means mexicans, not blacks.

There are no mexicans in BA. We're argentinians. You need to go to Mexico to find mexicans.

does anyone notice how vegans always tend to point out that they're a vegan? stuff gets old real fast.

Im a fan of short loin, tenderloin, and sirloin when it comes to american beef. I make a sirloin steak on a charcoal grill (even during the winter) about twice a month, regardless if its snowing or raining.

Dont eat much pork, ive never really been a fan of it and ive really only ate sliced ham from the deli.

Im a breast person when it comes to chickens.

And ive never ate mutton before, im quite sure.

other than that ive practicaly ate every type of fish in the ocean, and when I spent my entire summer with my cousin in virginia (He owns 20 acres of beachfront property in Accomack County, VA) and I got to experience the joy of catching a tuna right out of the ocean on his fishing boat, and was persuaded by his son to just take a bite out of it while it was flopping in my hand, and i got blood all over my arms but it was the best fish i have ever ate in my entire life. Im also a major fan of sushi.
