Not on the forums but on BL, grudge banning, Where you get into an argument with someone on another server where none of you are admin, and then you go on their server and they ban you for a reason like "Paybacks a bitch isnt it?" or "You know why". (first reason actually happened)..

If you own the server, you have every right to ban people you don't like from joining it. Now, if you were an admin who didn't have a stake in the server then you might be being unfair but that's situational.

Even badspot said "Might does not make right". Just because someone can ban another user from their server for no reason doesnt make it ok.

Also, in my opinion. if you let personal beef with other users govern the way you administrate, then you shouldnt be hosting or have admin privileges.

I haven't had this experience yet, but I have a couple of friends who went through the same exact thing.  (The ban reason was always in lowercase and featured 'lol' at some point.)

Alternatively, back in the day in a mini empires server, someone called my BL_ID high and said that my opinion had no relevance and threatened to kick me.  Well, I didn't know what "kicking" meant, so I said that as far as I could see, he didn't have a boot to kick me with and so his threat had no relevance.

He wasn't admin, so he could have interpereted that differently than what I intended.

I don't give a rats ass what badspot said. If the staff doesn't like someone on a personal level they should be banned.
