Now what I want to know is if they were banned for doing "king of ---" bullstuff or it was just because they were collectively spamming. I'm hoping that the king BS is bannable but I want to know for sure.

King of X is spam. It's like a chain message such as "Copy and Paste this in 10 threads and you'll be permabanned."

It wouldn't be surprising if some of them were, some of these people were banned before.
