Author Topic: a great burger idea  (Read 1036 times)

I can feel my arteries clogging already
KFC should sponsor Bernie Sander's campaign, then they can have their images next to the slogans of "Feel the Bern".

Personaly I don't even understand why beef is used anyways. Can't you just use pork instead?
There are pork burgers, yes. They do have a different taste to them than beef.
I think dark meat is just better for burgers given that they mince and cook in their own fat nicer.

double-downs and doubledowndogs are probably the only things i've ever seen where i'd rather eat the airbrushed model than the actual food

usually burgers still look tasty to me but dooble's 'dog is just plain gross

because people like beef

I just thought of a great burger!

What if you had the beef soaked with burbon before it is minced?

that's not a burger anymore that's forgetin rich dude cuisine

Just use regular pork cuts.  Bacon cuts would be too fatty.  Like we tolerate the fat in bacon because it's in thinner slices, but make them think patties and you got like a 20-60% consistency of pure fat.  Idk about you, but that would just be disgusting.

A good alternative is corned beef.

i always cut the big chunks of fat off my steaks and chops because it's really unpleasant to eat

Pork fat, depending on cut, is usually much more edible and delectable than beef fat.
Beef fat tends to have a lot of gristle, and it's a thick and elastic sort of fat that is difficult to chew/bite through.

Whereas the fat on bacon, ham, gammon, crackling or belly-fat is easy to eat, and it's sweeter.
