Author Topic: when did feminism go downhill  (Read 14063 times)

You know this is a myth, right? The only reason that women on average earn less than men is because they work lower paying jobs for less time.
Technically an actual pay gap does exist but not to the extent that most feminational socialists claim. They'll say something like women earn $.75 to every $1 a man earns when in reality its only a few cents less. I believe thats accounting for unpaid work as well so...

That's mainly because there isn't a 100% accurate statistical way to calculate the real wage gap. You can do professional economic math all year but at the end of the day it's still an educated guess based on a lot of statistics. A few cents is well within acceptable boundaries.

It doesn't make sense that a woman would get payed less than a man for doing the exact same work for the exact same time, especially considering how modern payrolls and accounting works. I mean, it's legitimately illegal to discriminate pay gender-wise. If their work ethics, loyalty to the company, level of education, hours worked, position, ect. were all absolutely mirrored they would be earning the same amount. If women could do the exact same work that men could do at a cheaper cost, you'd probably find that companies would majorly favor women and outsource most of the work to them. But they don't, but the wage gap is a ridiculous concept perpetuated by handicaps who believe they are entitled to more than they work for. (not this isn't a direct response to slayer just rather a statement on the wage gap lol)

Also a lot of lower-income and immigrant job pays experience a heavier divide by gender. Women are payed much less in unregulated facilities

Have you called a black person monday?
Have you called a tranloveual a transmission?
Has anyone ever called you a cracker?

Has anyone ever called you a cracker?
Interesting how african americans and people who were undecided of gender or loveual preference were essentially oppressed for hundreds of years, and now the only justifiable answer for someone of colored decent or representing a different loveual preference getting upset over tribal slurs is "but your kind calls us cracker all the time :(((( you're being an SJW"

There's really no acceptable reason to use a tribal slur or a slur of similar purpose, even as a joke.
People take offense when other people are insulting them with slurs

I called a transmission a "shemale" and then they called me a "cis-gendered mongo" and they flagged my comment as hate speech as they go on to say since they are transgendered he/she is in a protective group on youtube.

Well youtube doesn't have protective groups like twitter does now.
People take offense when other people are insulting them with slurs, you loving cultist.

So what you're saying is that racism = prejudice + power?

Talk to Yosher. He's the only black person on the forums I know of, he doesn't give a forget about people saying "monday".

I've only been called a n****r one time in my life by a white kid, and I got him suspended for good reason. Now, every time I connect to a blockland server, somebody has to go around yapping their mouth being inconsiderate of other races. You really can't honestly think that there's no consequences for using a word that people would use to refer to an enslaved race that was owned and oppressed by white people. There's no excuses.

If you expect hostility in real life, expect hostility on the internet.

So what you're saying is that racism = prejudice + power?

One example doesnt represent the entirety of a race.

There is also people complaining how women actor's get paid less than male actors.

9 times out of 10 it's because the male has the lead role.

Actor wages are all negotiations anyways.

Yosher is one human being. Just because he choses not to be offended by tribal slurs doesn't mean everyone else should

this is almost the same as a white guy saying 'no im not tribal, i have a friend thats black'

So what you're saying is that racism = prejudice + power?
I have absolutely no idea how you got that from his post

Red, there were thousands upon millions of african american citizens who were abused, enslaved, insulted, lynched, separated from their families, and your justification for using such a terrible word is because 'my friend doesn't get offended'

You must have such a diverse group of friends in real life
