I've played it a while at a friends house
it doesn't live up to ds1 but I feel like it gets more hate than it deserves
however it is fully deserving of hate from having nearly every single loving boss being a BIG GUY IN ARMOR LIKE EVERY SINGLE loving ENEMY IS A BIG GUY IN ARMOR LIKE  HOLY forget IT'S NOT THAT HARD JUST MAKE A BIG DOG IN ARMOR OR SOMETHING DARK SOULS 1 EVEN DID THAT BUT WITHOUT THE ARMOR

also the dlc is pretty close to ds1 tier

No, DS 2 on PC is plagued by the same issues as DS 1.

In my 200+ hours of playing DS2 on console I've encountered 1 hacker. The average person encounters a hacker on PC every 5-20 minutes.

Also PC has Alt+f4 scrubs. The console players could keep hitting the power button to ragequit but they have a chance of corrupt data or bricking their console if they do it too much lol.

hold ps button > quit appliction

if you're smart you could pull it off in 1 and a half seconds.

You can use controllers on pc; I use a wireless xbox 360 controller myself

Just. What. Consoles are designed for quick shut down and startup - in that you can power down doing anything except updating the console or etc and it will not result in data corruption. Just what. Like i'm fine if you list actual reasons but come on, think about these things first.
