My free Red Bull finally came

For anyone who doesn't know, there was a lawsuit against Red Bull a few years ago that claimed the company was using false advertising in the "Red Bull Gives You Wings" motto. Part of the settlement was to reimburse anyone that had purchased their energy drink before in either $10 cash or a four pack of Red Bull.

I filled out the claim form on http://energydrinksettlement.com/index around three years ago, and when I got home from work tonight I found a four pack of Red Bull sitting at my door. It was a very pleasant surprise because I thought the website was a total sham.

There was once a case where a woman put her RV on cruise control and went to make a sandwhich. Her RV slammed into another car. She sued the company for not putting it in the manual that the damn thing doesn't drive itself. She won and got a new RV iirc

They can still use it, but I think the change they made is that they can't depict a person drinking red bull then growing wings in their commercials anymore.

I just did a little research and the guy that sued them was paid $13 million. That's horsestuff

Do you actually like Red Bull? I can't really bring myself to like it. I don't remember the last time I drank it, but I do remember it being kinda bitter.

Same with Monster Energy drinks, but for the opposite reason. They're almost too sweet. Plus, as I'm sure those who've tried the "Vanilla" flavor can say, it tastes like liquid Jolly Rancher candies.

Still, nice win. Even if it's 4 years late. Maybe the energy boost will come in handy some time down the road.

I haven't drank a red bull for a long ass time and been sticking to less corrosive stuff like gatorade and pink lemonade.

Caffeine pills make getting a fix way easier and healthy.
