I was just going to write a quick description of this but it's too complicated for words alone, so I drew a simple family tree
arrows indicate, like, parenthood. flat lines at the end of lines mean sibling... hood? the one x that's on a line indicates divorce
that one magenta underlined word is "grandma," just in case it couldn't be read
the green line on top of that other line is because I don't know exactly how that goes. like, are they just mother and daughter? grandmother and granddaughter? dunno for sure
anyway, back to the reason I drew this. a cousin of mine is one of those people who look very much alike. he is the one circled in blue. his "dad" (my uncle) is not actually his birth father, and supposedly he is unaware of this fact. I don't have any idea who his real dad is. as you can also see, his mom (circled in red, but I'm not sure why I did that) is related to me on
both sides of my family. which brings me to the real reason for drawing this
my illegitimate cousin would have been easy enough to explain. but it gets worse when you find out that I'm related to his mom in two completely different ways. HOWEVER as you can see from this drawing, I am just related to her through marriage on either side. and that is why I am only a gross incest freak in spirit, not by blood
on the other hand, my mom's birthmom has all kinds of issues. she's got tons of mental problems. so god knows how that's trickled down to me. maybe that's why I'm a furry
