I'm Canadian and I can literally name ever state capital except for the Virginia's.

I know the capitals of most of the Canadian provinces.

BC = Victoria (screw you vancouver)
MB = Winnepeg
SK = Regina
YT = Whitehorse?
NT = Yellowknife
AB = Edmonton
ON = Toronto
QB = Quebec [City]
NS = Halifax

I'm not familiar with New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nunavut, or Newfoundland

I'm not even kidding, but this is what I watched 100's of times to memorize them long ago.

Same. I used to know their countries song too. Although that is now 20 years out of date and lists several countries that no longer exist.

Canada is weird. The overall population isn't large given its size, but it has so many mega huge cities where everyone seems to cluster. Looking at Wikipedia, 21% of the population lives in the top 5 cities, and that's calculating it based on the actual city limits not the metropolitan area. A similar calculation for the US gives us 6% of the population in the top 5 cities.
