Reinstalling Windows

I got an Alien computer recently, and it has one of the newer versions of Windows installed. It already has an account on it, which I don't know the password to. How do I reset the computer with out logging into the existing account? I'm trying to clean the whole computer, and start reinstalling everything I have on my existing computer.

it sounds like you'll want a boot disk/usb

If you want to re-install windows, then you're going to need the install disk (which can be a boot disk, too)

Unless you have anything important on the machine, just format the HDD and everything should go well.
