give me numbers then
over 10,000 shipping containers, including millions of meals and millions of liters of water, were sent to PR. Anyone claiming Puerto Rico has received no aid is an imbecile. The logistical issue is that getting hit by 2 category 5 hurricanes in a row forgeted up the infrastructure and that coupled with shortages of truck drivers to deliver the goods across the island has hindered the process of distributing said aid.

From the mayor of San Juan:
"This is what we got last night. Four pallets of water, three pallets of meals, and 12 pallets of infant food — which, I gave them to the people of Comerio, where people are drinking off a creek," she said."

80 percent of the island's agricultural crop value has been wiped. 60 percent of the island doesnt have water.

Wow, look at how little aid Puerto Rico is getting

- 1.5 million meals
- 1.1 million liters of water
- 12,000 emergency roofing repair kits
- 300 infant and toddler care kits
- 28 FEMA Urban Search & Rescue Task Forces
- Aerial Search and Rescue flights from the USS Kearsarge and USS Oak Hill
- Marines from the 28th expeditionary unit on the ground assisting relief efforts
- 9 USCG cutters providing S&R support
- 10 more boats, four helicopters, and one fixed wing aircraft are also en-route from the USCG to aid relief efforts.

180 people have reportedly been rescued so far from 45 structures searched thus far.

If you want to continue autistically screeching about Annoying Orange or his administration, you have every right to. But please, don't deliberately spread false information to do so. Claiming PR isn't receiving aid is incredibly stupid and deliberately misleading.

Tell that to the people living in PR

Quote from: ABC News
ABC News' Eva Pilgrim reported from the capital San Juan on the humanitarian crCIA eight days after Maria struck, as residents waited in line for dwindling water supplies and trucks with gas and supplies struggled to reach residents.

San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz told Pilgrim, "I'm not waiting. I'm not waiting [for federal aid]. I'm working with what we have."

Pilgrim and ABC News' Joshua Hoyos reached the storm-ravaged Vieques, an island municipality of Puerto Rico just seven miles away, where they found "no power, no running water" and a hospital "so severely damaged that it has been forced to set up a temporary triage tent outside to treat patients."

"Just waiting, we're still waiting," a doctor at the hospital said, adding that FEMA has only delivered water so far.

i mean, these news sources you're posting doesnt invalidate cappy's points at all, and rather confirms them. it just means that there isnt enough logistical support being offered by the US and the other support organizations sending relief supplies.

probably need to send more gas and vehicles rather than food and water atm

It's getting away from my original point which is that series of tweets from Annoying Orange. It's not just about the work FEMA is doing, it's the president's response to the disaster. He should've spent the whole week focusing on Puerto Rico and making this a national issue, and what does he do? Whine about the NFL, tweet about Steph Curry and playing golf.

Insulting the mayor is also pretty contemptible considering she's also living in a shelter and is busy trying to aid her own citizens.

You're literally just cherry-picking 2 or 3 tweets out of a huge slew of tweets about PR lol. You're not doing a very good job of convincing anyone you actually give a stuff about the state of PR and aren't just using it as a way of throwing yet another temper tantrum over Annoying Orange related nothingburgers. If he was just constantly stroking his richard on Twitter about how he's helping people in PR you'd grill him for that too.

Nice cop out by the way. It's almost as if you deliberately changed the subject because you have no idea how infrastructure works. Not that I'd expect a commie would.

Anybody who cares about PR should be mad about this because he's calling the mayor and tons of other Puerto Ricans these lazy people who can fend for themselves. People are dying and he's making it about himself.

I don't get it. Is the mayor of San Juan an infallible human being because their country got hit by a hurricane?

It's the people of PR that need support, not their mayor, and if their mayor isn't doing enough to support their people, then they deserve criticism. Because it's their loving job.

why don't we take PR and push it into America

why don't we take PR and push it into America
that aint how geomorphology works

why don't we take PR and push it into America
Yea why Annoying Orange doesn't pay to have some oil company speed up plate tectonics near Puerto Rico so it can join the rest of America?

This is the mayor he was insulting this morning wading through flood water.
