Why does everyone want Bernie to win, isn't he a socialist which is one step closer to communism? I learned the socialism part from my American History teacher

He supports a lot of socialistic economic policies which generally means that he supports policies that help push the economy from the bottom up, if that makes much sense. He wants to remove money from politics because for a long time organizations with lots of money have basically been able to purchase legislation that favors them.

I kept writing and deleting various things from this post until I decided to only post those two points. I'm not great at talking about politics.

Like it's been said, socialism is bad under and authoritarian government
We have a 3 branch government with checks and balances

Most often people bring up Marxist or Stalinist socialism which is different

Bernie is not a socialist. He's a democratic socialist (there's a difference), which is *generally* what many European countries today are.
