Suportting minorities isn't even the intention of the system. The intention is to give smaller population states a larger voice, and avoid large population states like California from having all the voice. But, even as the citizen of a small
ish population state (Minnesota is about in the middle in number of electoral votes), I disagree with that sentiment. I don't believe my vote should be weighed more than the vote of someone in a higher population state.

What are you talking about? My whole point is that someone shouldn't lose the popular vote but win the electoral vote. But Obama
didn't lose the popular vote; he won the 2008 popular vote 52% - 45% and the 2012 popular vote 51% - 47%.
