Not sure how to conceal a rifle, it's a .22 (Winchester model 190). I could easily get out of the house without a problem, it's my sisters and mom that I'm watching out for.
Saw it off man you'll be cooler too.

This situation is so delicate and unique that 99% of the advice you guys offer will be meaningless. That being said Alyx you and I don't interact frequently but I do take note of your posts. You are clearly strong and smart enough to get out of this situation and end up better from it. I'm so sorry for the stuff you have to deal with bro.

Thanks, I appreciate the confidence. I'll be honest, I'm scared as forget right now. He can burst through a door at any second, given my back injury I can't move too fast but hopefully just fast enough. Regardless I have the only ranged weapon.

We have no food or drinks left, last night during my uncles rampage his stupid ass kids took everything. We use a water tank and it ran dry a few days ago. Our car is empty on gas too, empty empty.
Our neighbor said he'd help but got drunk and passed out. My uncle across the road is a lousy piece of stuff and won't spare us a little fuel. I hope karma hits him like a ton of bricks covered in stuff.

Sadly that's illegal in most states, Sawn-off firearms count as an ACF/Tier 2 weapon iirc

Consider everyone in your family sleeping in the same room. I don't think just sleeping by yourself is safe, gun or no, with a person like that.

Secondly, are the police in your area just stupid or did you not show them the giant hole in a door from a knife?

Maybe they're forced to take everyone's testimony into account, even if it isn't the victim. I don't know.

We've all been in the back of the house with the door locked and the cops are dumb as forget. We told them multiple times the truth but they refused.

would you rather be homeless or dead?

would you rather be homeless or dead?
Were getting assistance so luckily neither one will happen (I hope). I'd rather be homeless though. If it does come down to it we have places to go even though they are small

My grandpa and uncle are acting as if nothing happened, they just asked me if I wanted to ride with my grandpa to the store. My ass I will, that car is on empty and he can't drive worth a stuff.

the thing I don't understand is that if your uncle threw a knife and was as mad as you say, and the police were contacted, they should've detained him on the spot.  especially if there was a hole caused by the knife and you could show them that the knife is a perfect fit.  on the getting kicked out side, if it's your grandpas house it is his decision who gets to stay.  and that being the case I highly doubt anyone would kick a child and their parents out over someone who is threatening to severely hurt people.  the story is just really fishy imho.  there has to be a reason your grandpa chose to kick your family out.  also beating someone because they threw a chair is kind of the same rational as the person throwing the chair, "oh I'm mad so I'm gonna break stuff and hurt people".  One last thing, having a loaded gun in a situation that can get explosive very quick is a terrible idea.  Protect yourself with a knife or something, if your uncle just so happens to get his hands on your loaded weapon that can end very badly very quick.

I'm guessing you're not familiar with how this stuff plays out. And no there is no reason, last night he got pissed off at us for retaliating against someone who threw a knife at a child and was given a choice by my uncle to kick us out or him and his kids. He chose us.
Now he's acting like he never said it but were leaving on our own, were done with this bullstuff. This is not a uncommon thing (I think I stated this in another post). This has been going on for years and no one wanted to do stuff about it until someone finally almost died.

You don't have to believe it and you can say its as fishy as you want but I know what happened. Charges are being pressed so I'm just waiting to hear about that because I'll be appearing to say my part.

Jeez

It was only a matter of time before someone snapped I guess. I'm glad you're getting out of there. I hope you can get yourself into a better situation.

I was talking to my mom, the people who are helping us is going to try and find us a place. From what I was told we're going on an emergency list to get a place asap.

My grandpa is mad at me for bashing my uncle with my cane after he threw a chair at someone who was trying to confront him. The person confronting was the father of one of the kids who nearly took a 6-7in knife to the gut, had he not shut the door he would have been killed.
I think it was deserved

Glad to know safety is certain.

I would recommend not to lose your guard at any time, if your uncle and grandfather made this happen in the first place, they've got to be unreliable, unstable and unpredictable.
