Seeing the ability of the great animators on Youtube and other places on the internet to come together and help with the Jontron FIREWORK music video, and the love and thought put into the Blockland is Just Awesome video, I have inspired to make and manage this collab. WHAT IS THIS? WHAT DO YOU PLAN TO DO?This is going to be a cover of the Katy Perry song Firework, with video (like the animators in the Jontron Firework cover) and audio (like in the Blockland is Just Awesome video) recorded by each Blocklander who wants to participate to be put in a small part of the song.
I want everyone to record a small scene and/or sing.
I want to see the Blockland community come together and see if, with collaboration, we're able to make something truly great.
COOL, CAN I HELP?Post in this thread/PM me if you want to help! Make sure that you're able to provide me an example of any previous work that could help you make a scene, as this will greatly increase your chances to get in.
A maximum of 52 participants will be allowed in (1 for each line, and very low chances of all the slots getting filled.)
You can reserve 1 line you want to sing, although everyone will sing the main repeating lines in a glorious chorus.
Your line(s) will get PM'd to you after I stop taking new participants.
I REALLY WANT TO HELP... BUT MY COMPUTER SUCKS.If you lag terribly while recording on Blockland (or y'know with shades), while recording make sure you set the timescale to .2 and then record the scene.
Using a video editor, speed up the video by x5.
Then you can edit and export the footage (preferred 60fps.)
It will appear as if you've actually recorded the scene in full speed.
