Pigeon man's house. (hey arnold reference)
cant believe i remember this

I live in New York, so the majority of pigeons roost above the doors of delis, right below the paper awnings. They also roost in the space between Windows, where no rain can get to it.

They put up pikes to make sure that pidgeons don't roost in areas where people might walk under frequently (for obvious reasons)

In suburban areas they make nest in trees or under roofs, in the usual place where squirrels or bees might also live.
Where in NY do you live? I live in NY too and rarely see pigeons; maybe a couple times a year

brooklyn. Pigeons are essentially everywhere the closer you get towards the city.

Oh right, I never consider NYC when people say they live in New York.

yk I used to ponder this all the time. I'm pretty sure pigeons are the avian homeless

Yeah everyone who doesn't live in New York thinks people are talking about city; the worst, most burdensome part of the state(besides Syracuse and Schenectady).

You made have a loving nostalgia bomb for a second.

Over here near LA they put up spikes to stop them from getting onto store ledges and other crap but I don't know how yours are but ours have evolved to discover stealing pieces of paper, napkins and stuff to make the spikes useless.

I have a chicken pen and pigeons go in there and sleep with the chickens

maybe they just sleep in abandoned nests or trees
