What is it?It is what you make it! I've gotten a large number of brick addons that I think will be useful (no plain bricks, all special, mostly lego-style.)
It's set in a world where one day, the sky went dark. Completely, no stars, no planets. Dark. It slowly recovered, but never went back to normal. Several wars have happened since then, and various other things. Now you have a world of dystopias and wastelands. Choose to live in a dystopia or survive in the wastelands as best you can. (There's no hunger or anything unless you want to set something up with VCE. Which I have.)
Quickstart-It's SuperSuit12's Darkened Skies on the list. May have stuff after that.
-Read everything in spawn.
-Use common sense, respect others, have fun. Don't use nukes. I can give permission to use nukes or if EVERYONE ELSE on the server is okay with it and I'm not on, you can use a nuke. Never set up events that spawn nukes that can be unintentionally triggered (pressure plates, gaze events, etc.)
-Read the below post if you like walls of text.
-If it's passworded, that means important stuff is busted and I can't be around to fix it, so I locked it up so the broken-ness doesn't cause worse things.

Anyways, the difference is that
it's a DEDICATED server! It'll be up a lot more. Not always moderated, though. In addition to that, it's got more addons and is more oriented towards allowing players to add to the world instead of having it built only by me with the occasional open space for people to build.
You can connect to it by finding it in the list (It's Custom for the game-mode, Supersuit12's Darkened Skies is the beginning so just sort alphabetically.)
There's a Discord group that goes with it that can be joined here. Discord is voice and text chat with multiple channels and groups and stuff. Best part? It's got a web version, no download required.

-It's focused around letting players build. Autosaver allows building on public bricks without losing build rights after save/reload.
-It uses the Fluidity Playertype. Use your jet key to move when you grab ladders, gratings, or ledges.

RULES LIST:-Don't build directly on the ground, build on PUBLIC ModTer bricks. Normal users cannot create public bricks, so let me handle the creation of new chunks of terrain!
-Above rule means no building new sections of land, feel free to use ModTer on top of public ModTer.
-Build seriously, don't make things that don't make sense. This is RP and Build, not Freebuild. There shouldn't be pumpkins that turn you into a cannon when you look at them and send you to the moon if you step on them, nor should there be giant 64x ModTer blocks at random.
-Don't abuse ___________
Abusable thing-Don't be rude. You can dislike someone, you don't have to hide it, but don't be rude just for the sake of being rude.
-Don't be crude.
-Don't be socially unacceptable.
-The above two rules mean, basically, no drawing or building genitals or breasts, no innuendo or loveual stuff, and keep cursing to a minimum. (You can curse, but don't have like every other word be a curse word and try to avoid dropping the F-Bomb, or else I'll drop a regular bomb or a million on you.)
-Don't be afraid of the giant list of don'ts,
use common sense and pay attention to warnings and you'll be fine. I very rarely ban without warning, mostly if the user has just joined and has done something incredibly unacceptable that shows they're just the sort of person you don't want around.
Example: A guy named Donald Annoying Orange joins and he's made his playermodel look like male genitals. Instaban. A guy named RadicalGuy joins and drops the F-Bomb. Warning. RadicalGuy refuses to stop using the F-Bomb and uses it in basically every chat message. 1-day ban. He comes back and still hasn't learned. Banned for not respecting authority or the rules.-Press the LOWEST GREEN CIRCLE to the RIGHT of the door to open it, not the button!
The ScheduleI'm not running this all day every day. My computer may need rebooted from time to time.
This is the schedule I'll be SHOOTING FOR. It may not be exactly this. I'm on the East Coast.
Weekdays: 3PM - 9PM
Weekends: 8AM or 10AM - 9PM
(If someone can get me a way to automatically shut it down, I can make it run later. That's going down at 6PM on the WEST coast, I want it to be later than that. I go to sleep at nine so I can't shut it down later than that on my own. There's some stuff that has to be manually set up when I start it, so I'll start it manually.)
