Time is pre-determined even if you are fully aware of any time anomalies. You could be fully aware that you've been sent back in time for a week but you can't do anything about it. No matter how hard you try your actions will still be the same.

Which is my point. There's no concrete theory for what happens after death, and NDE's don't do anything to provide evidence for what may lie after death.

So, it would be unwise to base a theory on an already unsteady theory/evidence.
