I said that the way to pronounce it was "Beetlejuice" in science class and everyone was surprised. I fixed the teachers computer in the same class the same day.

I always pronounce it bee-til geez

for a while I pronounced it betel geese (with hard consonants) until I realized that that's not how at all

I thought everyone knew about the star
i legit never knew about a star named Betelgeuse because we never went over the H.R. diagram or learning about stars in the galaxy the past years
