Author Topic: Indiebox problem with my mum  (Read 1419 times)

Oops, I didn't read that you didn't successfully complete the purchase. :/
Don't worry, I didn't even read "wait for it to arrive"

it has green http thing you see on google chrome which shows it is a real website that isn't giving you virus' or scamming you
That doesn't mean what you think it means.  HTTPS simply protects your payment information from "man-in-the-middle" attacks (data interception.)  You can still get scammed by a website using HTTPS.

Well that's a shame considering Indiebox is actually a really neat service especially for people like me who infinitely perfer physical stuff over digital stuff.

that depends, do you know how to check certificates and who assigned them and how reputable the people who assigned them are?

Every mother can be stupid just because they're too dumb to realize anything, no offense
uh sounds like you've got mommy issues

I would give mom the benefit of the doubt, especially if its her money. You live under her roof, you play by her rules.
Your mother didn't go through hell to raise you so you could get pissed off over some games. At least be grateful for what you have.

Also, you can't blame someone for not being born in the same generation as you and essentially not understanding modern technology.

Um... Yes you loving can

Um... Yes you loving can
Sure you can, but that officially makes you a brat

People like that grow up and then realize how much a loving pain in the ass they were towards their parents and feel regret

Um... Yes you loving can
good lord thats the worst thing ive read today
imagine if youre constantly hearing about internet scams and child enthusiasts, would you believe the internet is safe after that?

My mom pretty much gets it

Excuse me it's MY money I'm using and I'm not getting pissed over the games, it's the fact she said it was a scam.

Do you use google chrome? If so, you'll see on websites like youtube that the http is green with a green padlock.
