^ this thing.
Made sure I plugged it in right but my sound is mono for some reason when I do the left/right test.
What do?
Is it the pin?
When I dont use the splitter thing it seems to be stereo tough

what does it only play in 1 ear?

Mono means both stereo channels play. When music is played you hear two different things in each ear to create a better effect. With mono you lose that effect (and music doesn't sound as good)

Also what 4 pin thing?

Well, first you should have considered going into detail on what you mean by mono. But of course now we have a new problem at hand.
Reset all settings for sound to default.

How can you go into detail in mono? Mono is mono?
And how do I even reset all that stuff to default

ffs... Is it in one ear or is the stereo channels compressed into one but going through both speakers in the headset
