http://abc27.com/2016/02/26/ukrainian-man-posing-as-harrisburg-high-student-faces-new-charges/So this guy, Asher Potts, is this 23 year old Ukrainian man who was just arrested for posing as a high schooler and also having loveual relations with an 18 year old and 15 year old allegedly.
Heres a quick summary of his story from the article:
- Artur's (Asher's) family gave them all their money to send him to the U.S.
- He comes here on a work visa which expires so he gets a visitor's visa which also expires
- He reaches out to this couple, the Potts, who offer to help him by adopting him
- Artur, who is 20, has to drop 5 years in order to be adopted
- Artur becomes Asher Potts and is now 15 with a birth certificate stating he was born in 1997
- He goes to high school, is a straight A student, does community service and spends most of him time either doing chores for the Potts or focusing on education
-He gets busted by the authorities and in his interview he states that he came here for a better life, that the U.S. is the land of opportunity and that he tried to do better for the society but he recognizes his crime and admits he's guilty but does not regret what he did
