i have the raspberry pi b (the original one from 2013), im running a home web server on it, its really fun to ssh to it to try different things, but its the original one and its really slow, ill definitely buy the rpi 3 once i get $$$s

I have the model B so it's really slow. Never did anything with it.

The only thing I dislike from the Pi is the ARM processor. Programs compatible with x86 aren't compatible with ARM.

Other than that, it's a good microcomputer.
You'd be paying a lot more if you wanted an x86 processor, plus you'd need a beefer power supply.
ARM is so good because it costs less to manufacture, and also consumes much less power (on average) than a x86 chip.
(ARM's ISA is also SO MUCH better than x86's ISA)

More on topic:
I don't have a Raspberry Pi, but I did get a Banana Pi R1. Still setting it up as a router because networking is hard.
