Author Topic: What movies have you seen recently?  (Read 1306 times)

I recently watched FMJ with my dad and it was pretty great, really shows how forgeted up boot camp is and how people were pretty much insane during Vietnam.

The most recent movie I saw was Star Wars

Full Metal Jacket is a great movie! I love it. Have you read the book its based off of?

No I haven't actually send me the name and I'll probably read it whenever I can.

fant4stic or wherever the 4 is and scorch trials
scorch trials was not half as good as maze runner and doctor doom sucked ass in fant4stic so by extension it sucked ass

i watched san andreas two days ago and it was loving terrible
my mother loved it though but i've never seen her dislike a movie

Oh yeah, I forgot I also saw The Fifth Element at a friends house recently as well.

Who watches a movie starring The Rock and doesn't expect it to be terrible

i watched 30 mins of the usual suspects a few weeks back but i haven't gotten a chance to watch the rest

No I haven't actually send me the name and I'll probably read it whenever I can.
The Short Timers, you can read it here or buy it for like 179 dollar hardback if you are insane

Beasts of No Nation

well, there goes Africa's last engineer

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

I could have just said the first 6 HP movies but w/e

Grimsby - Absolutely hilarious. The laughs don't stop, even if it is completely crass. Mark Strong plays the straight face to perfection.

The Bird with the Crystal Plumage - Kind of boring. A 70's Italian crime mystery, with a couple of funny moments, but mostly a simple plot.

Tokyo Gore Police - A weird, Japanese gore fest. Particularly low quality sfx for a 2008 movie, but it is low budget. Kind of funny, but you'd better satiate your gore/bizareness cravings with something like Evil Dead.

Lincoln Lawyer - A dreadfully boring movie, about a richardbag lawyer (played by Matthew McConaughey) who gets caught on the wrong side of a criminal case, and somehow ends up redeeming his awful character, even though he really didn't.

quite literally all of the pokemon movies
