okay so when i download games on steam i never exceed 380kb/s (kilobytes)

and im looking at steam and i see this



i got extremely excited until i realized this was probably megabits and not megabytes

has it always been like this or did steam just change their measurements?


why would they trick me like this im pissed now. i want to switch it back to bytes instead of bits

Thats what he said. You have less than 2 MB/s.

thats kind of handicapped especially if you're speed varies from 2mb/s through 3mb/s

i highly doubt thats the case
