Author Topic: Going to take my learner permit test  (Read 1464 times)

When I took my NYS permit test it was ten easy questions on road signs/markings. That was 6 years ago though and the laws have changed a lot since then.

i had to do 30 questions and I needed to get 26 right

i got 26 right lol

I had to get like 18/25 right or something and I think I got 2 wrong

it's surprising to me how many forumers that are older than me don't have a permit

At least where I live in the city, not many people get a license as early as possible because public transport is abundant.

Anyway I forgeted up and forgot to bring my birth certificate even though the website said to only bring your SSN and a completed form.

I got extremely car sick on the way there after only 10 minutes in a car, I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to drive without a window open.

I remember getting my NY permit like 10 years ago. Can't imagine it's much different. Know right of way rules, don't stop in the damn train tracks, etc. Is it still a 20 question multiple choice?

I don't even know, I haven't ever taken it. Should it tell you in the manual?

I guarantee that if you don't study at all you can get like a 20-22

I've taken a bunch of online tests and there is always some ridiculous question and I always fail, I'm not dumb, they are just questions drivers don't pay any mind to or don't talk about.

i know people who get carsick too and they feel a lot better when they're actually controlling the car themselves
probably won't be a massive issue
