Undyne the undying I guess

https://youtu.be/ekh-T7Elg0A?t=21m31s
probably the hardest boss I've beaten in any game (it wasn't even lunatic wow I'm a  pleb)
revengence jetstream sam was pretty hard too

The boss from FTL will wreck your stuff if you don't know what you're doing.

Especially if you're an insane masochist like me who plays with Captain's Edition and randomized flagships.

ok so i'm adding orphan of kos to my list
aside from the general 90 degree pivots that plagues every boss in bloodborne this is like the toughest and least bullcrap boss in the game

Gergoth from Castlevania - Dawn of Sorrow. Not the hardest I've faced, but it was annoyingly difficult not to get hit by this guy in such a small space. You pretty much have to stand an inch away from his foot whenever he attacks, or you'll get hit a lot.

Also the motherloving magic seal system in this game...

While not insanely hard, I wanted to mention the single most satisfying boss fight of all time; Dr Nefarious in Ratchet & Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal.

Unlike most games, the boss fight correctly challenges you on every game mechanic you've been practising throughout the game (think Portal 2's boss fight but with giant guns). It also has a great climax sequence where you get to destroy a massive mech with a spaceship. It's just a fantastic way to finish a great game.

When I was much younger and an avid NFS player, Carbon always had the most memorable bosses and some of the toughest races. The canyon segments made everything much harder, fall off, instant fail, fall back too far, instant fail. You had to balance a whole lot of factors and damn it felt satisfying after beating the final dude by just a hair in a muscle car (fyi, they had the worst handling for canyon drifting in the game ;w;).

aight after 20 hours of nuclear throne i have to say forget you little hunter, forget you and your scream and your constant jumping, god dammit i've only gotten to the throne once because of that little bastard

i bet you won't believe that there is an even worse IDPD related boss in the game

Also I forgot.

Killing Derek is loving impossible in Mafia 2. Only managed it twice. I find it easier to kill Falcone, which is the final boss than Derek.

^this boss was the biggest jerk ive ever seen in all of my boss fights

then again I was like 8 and never did a boss fight ever because my dad did it for me
but even my dad got owned hard on this guy

^^^ this boss was pretty much impossible if you sucked at timing
you had to hit all the eyes in certain orders on the red guy, which you had to use the platforms to create the 4 links on

theyre only holograms and if they get hit they disappear
bluy guy constantly flies over and hits your holograms

AND HE GOT FASTER EVERY TIME YOU HIT THE RED GUY

Ridley in Super Metroid can go die in a hole. Im pretty sure they added an extra 0 to his health accidentally while coding the game. Lets not talk about Super Metroid : Impossible s'version of the fight.
