the placenta also allows cell exchange between the mother and child. studies are kind of scattered, but mothers with specific heart conditions are known to have gotten better after pregnancy.

IMO, abortion should be legal in MOST circumstances. If a woman decides she is not ready to care for a child, she should carry it to term and put it up for adoption.
If a woman was raped or the baby had a large chance of being born with a defect, they should abort.

The unfortunate problem with casting judgement on a case-by-case basis is that loveual assault in the first place has a stuffton of legal gray areas. Either side could be lying and there's often never a concrete way to figure out how.

Really, it should just be the woman's choice regardless of the stage in pregnancy. Until that baby comes out of her, it's her body, and her choice whether she wants to go through the physical pain of bearing it, and the financial and emotional pain of raising it.

Honestly, I find the exceptions less logical than no abortion at all. With the abortion is murder argument, if exceptions are included, then murder is alright if it was rape or incest. Logically, its a little silly.
