Author Topic: Karia's Servers are unconnectable (Read 819 times)

My friend has recently been having problems hosting servers. We were playing yesterday, the server crashed, and Karia started back up. We all went to connect.. and it didnt do anything. The Ping was --- and when you hit connect it would say "Connecting to -IP ADDRESS-' but thats it. It didnt send packets, or whatever, it just did that.

We're trying to solve this problem, but we cant.

Is Karia using forwarded ports or not? Did you wait a bit before reconnecting?

Not really. Though some have to port forward.

Ask her to check the "Network" tab in options to see if she has UPnP disabled (the "Disable UPnP checkbox)

Tell them to toggle it, then launch the server again to be sure. If it doesn't work, port forwarding will be required.

If she disables UPnP, of course it won't work.

But when you disable something it works for nobody.

You could just say that they need to port forward, and provide a short tutorial on how to do so.

They said the toggle was off, I said to toggle it, lol

Also, tutorials are on the stickys, they can't be super simple

they're saying the toggle to DISABLE it is off, so it is enabled.
