Author Topic: How many hours of Fallout 4 have you played so far?  (Read 1588 times)

41 hours apparently?
i just played one character, did the railroad ending, and quit. thinking most of those hours are AFK

railroad is the most ethical choice
Well, besides the part where they kill a whole bunch of children.

100 ish hours

first playtrough 40-50 hours exploring most of it, tanking with high end powerarmour 50-something levels at the end - institute ending
second playtrough 20-25 hours, "speed" running, lightarmour mysterious liquid, chem run 20-something levels at the end - railroad ending
rest of the time i spent loving around with console best gear all legendary, all perks - no ending

I do have over 100 on new vegas I think. beat the game once siding with mr. house with my Stalin character, I'm Riddler in my current game.

steam says you only have 10 hours?
I pre-ordered it xbox one because I have very low bandwidth internet and I didn't want to have to deal woth downloading the game plus the updates
railroad is the most ethical choice
They're loving idiots, ITS A ROBOT, I COULD MAKE MY DOG WEAR TEE SHIRT, JEANS AND GLASSES, IT WOULD STILL BE A DOG.

And by low bandwidth I mean extreamly low, there is no cable offered where I live, so I use a mobile hot spot, they said it would be "165 kb/s" and turns oit I am getting between "900 bytes/s and 10 kb/s" its even more bull stuff because I know they're throttling my connection, it used to run at a fairly slow but a lot better than this "60 kb/s"

Well, besides the part where they kill a whole bunch of children.
You mean the future Brotherhood knights? Killing children is just as bad as killing anyone else

what a terrible comparison

railroad is the most ethical choice
The most ethical choice is killing and ruling everyone

railroad is the most ethical choice

It's the definitely the most custard heart choice, no doubt, but it's also a gigantic waste of time and yields absolutely no benefit for the future of the commonwealth

yea i felt obligated to chose railroad to save a newborn race, but obviously when i stood on the skyscraper watching the institute blow up, i could only feel like i just wasted the only future or good thing the commonwealth had.

why minutemen > raiders > everyone else
they don't care one way or another about synths (see: [sturges]
they got cool lasers
they aren't unleashing super mutants into the commonwealth
they just want to protect the people at a minute's notice

I beat the game once with the minutemen

The thing about the Railroad is that even their goal is to create a genocide of the synths.
They want to destroy the Institute. But the Institute is the only means of synths being created.

They can't reproduce. No one else has the technology to build them. Synths can die and be destroyed.
As intelligent beings acting as humans they will eventually be destroyed through some means, unlike the various robots that patrol the wastelands and might carry on for centuries.

If the Railroad remove the Institute there will come a day when there are no more synths alive.

The Railroad clears out/can clear out the synths in the Institute before blowing it to pieces

Also are we positive synths can't reproduce? That'd be a pretty obvious indicator that someone's a synth

There are no mentions of any synth-born children.

I don't think an inability to reproduce would be a good indicator of being a synth in a post-apocalyptic radiation filled wasteland.
There must be plenty of infertile individuals. Consider how few children there seem to be.

Also, it's not a very good test if it's going to take anywhere from 2-9 months to prove you've become pregnant, or impregnated someone.

played for about 10 minutes of it then got bored
