crpgs need to account for inflation


add that in the next crpg gamemode that someone decides to waste their time on

I've been developing something like this slowly on and off for about a year and a half now, except mine uses a schema system like Clockwork *but* has the game-play/seriousness (or lack thereof) of DarkRP.

Owing to the fact that mine will probably never be finished anyway I can finally move on to a different project if you're going to make this.
Can you configure most aspects of the game-mode e.g. all jobs, etc so it can be turned into something else (say, Black Mesa RP?)

The easiest way to fix those is to not let any job spawn with weapons except for those who can lose their job if they use it unwisely. (like cops)
And if I remember correctly, that is a thing in DarkRP.
Mostly only cops would spawn with guns but it should be as fun to be a cop as it would to be a criminal. There is a limit on how many people can play each job at once which prevents an unbalanced server.

No sorry, this isn't really an RP people just want their food so they can go.

You can continue to make yours, I don't really want this to be anywhere near serious-rp. RP isn't fun imo, people just want to jump in and play. I hate Clockwork/Hl2RP.

There are prefs on my game mode for just about anything that could be customized. Jobs are easily added in a similar way.

It never was serious RP, it just used a schema system like Clockwork.
But nevermind that, I've been meaning to look into a different project I had in mind - a year and half is a long time to have learned new skills.

I'd love to play DarkRP on BL just as I loved to play DarkRP in Serious Roleplaying Hell on GMod, so please make sure it actually gets finished unlike mine (good luck).

most city rpgs die because of three reasons:

too many criminals

too many cops

it becomes a deathmatch

as long as you can mitigate these reasons or prolong them...
