Author Topic: Clay Hanson (ID: 15144) - Possible Server Crasher  (Read 4495 times)

I don't have that much evidence to support this, but this is as much as I can tell because it happened unexpectedly.

I was going to shut down my server in less than ten minutes, when in that time period, this person joins my server, and then says something causing me to have a runtime error; crashing the server. Earlier, we banned a person named Kelp [Id 48383] for attempting to crash the server by spamming massive explosions via relay events, and attempting to hide the evidence that he didn't do so. It was him that did it because upon clearing bricks, the explosion spam stopped.

Normally, I don't get runtime errors in any unexpected case like this; this is the first time my server was crashed. My friend DodgeViperAcr16 also got some evidence too.

And here is your evidence you need.

you know, i played on his server for like three days when he first stared hosting. i could always tell he was a little.. off. makes sense.

Clay Hansen is RTBARCHIVE. He's like Anthonyrules in the sense that he's a cynical starfish.

I can and will deny this, as I didn't do it. Runtime errors are very frequent on Blockland, especially if you're hosting. Simple things can cause them. I even got a runtime error from turning on my light, so it's no surprise that you got one from someone leaving.

As for Kelp, I think he was at Rose the Floran's server at the time, but this isn't something I can confirm.

May I ask how is it then, that upon saying "gay", then leaving instantly, is it possible for a runtime error like this to happen, when this is the first time that this has happened to me at an unexpected case?

It happens to everyone at some point or another. I'm being a little stupid tonight, I know (saying "gay" and all), but I didn't crash your server. The reason for me leaving is because the server stopped responding for 1 or 2 minutes before disconnecting me.

a "smoking gun" is evidence that proves without a doubt that someone did something, and it's definitely not a reference to watergate, which involved no guns at all

anyway, this guy may be a dork for connecting and leaving immediately, but he didn't make your server crash (intentionally)
there's that whole bug where someone connecting to your server may wind up with the downloads freezing while they download your server's files. and if someone disconnects while it's frozen, whamo, runtime error

That was for when Kelp was attempting to crash the server using relay explosion event; the aftermath of when I banned him.

The term Smoking Gun was used for the evidence for president Nixon's secret tapes back then. I don't want to go off topic please.

But other than that, RTB and Fox may be right on this, and welp, there's not that much to say on this drama then.

yes it was, but when people say it, it's not a reference to that. both during watergate and to this day, it's just something people say. apparently it started with some sherlock holmes book in the 1800s

and it might as well go off-topic, considering the fact that you were wrong, and the only thing rtbarchive is guilty of is calling frozen downloads "gay"

Which at this point, wouldn't give me a reason to drama in the first place.

Kelp is an starfish, he spoiled star wars for me...twice

clay tried to crash my freebuild back in 2015
