Yesterday and today there has been a lot of flooding in our parish, we had to evacuate my mom's house due to potential flooding luckily it was only 3 inches away from flooding our main house although it did creep into our "cottage" or secondary house.

I live near a river and never had any flooding due to it being a very downstream river. Water at the port of BA did rise about 4m and that river is very wide and leads directly into the Atlantic Ocean. It happened after an entire week of heavy rain storms.
