Author Topic: People won't stop using "a lot" as "alot."  (Read 1669 times)

Everywhere I go on the internet, I swear I always see "your" versus "you're," or people saying "alot." "Alot" is not a word, but people use it so much. Some people even claim they have recollection of learning "alot" in school. I don't try to be a Grammar national socialist, but this really bothers me.

people wont stop using "you" as "u," "love" as "luv," and "laugh" as "😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂"

i once saw someone who had dialogue written like this:

"What"?

I apologise for any time I use their/there incorrectly. I know which way round it goes, but if I'm not paying attention I typo them easily.
